You could remove the flour and just dip in egg, then butter (this is way better for you than flour), then panko or breadcrumbs. Mix the spices in the panko or breadcrumbs instead. I never use flour and it’s totally fine with just panko or breadcrumbs. Also, if you get Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, it already has the spices you need so removes that step of spices. Since Italian breadcrumbs and plain breadcrumbs cost the same, you are saving money.
